Basic Spanish Grammar Rules: Lessons & Explanations

Here you’ll find explanations of specific Spanish grammar rules.   I focus mainly on the basic Spanish grammar and write the explanations with beginning and intermediate students in mind, and use illustrations and videos as often as I can.

If you’re having trouble with a specific Spanish grammar rule or concept, this is a good place to check in order to see if I’ve covered it.  I currently have articles on verb conjugations, the subjunctive, para vs por, word frequency, and where to find good Spanish lessons on YouTube (which frequently cover grammar).

I’m going to start incorporating lots of exercises and quizzes in the future into my articles, when relevant, and grammar definitely lends itself to that kind of thing.
